Wedding trend : Rustic vintage weddings

Here’s an early Christmas present : the gorgeous pictures of the wedding photoshoot that took place few weeks earlier! The pictures arebreath-taking and I’m sure they will inspire you for your wedding! With all the rustic weddings we see on Pinterest, wedding blogs and the likes, it feels like there’s nothing original about it. And true, we’ve seen so many mason jars adapted in every way possible for that particular wedding theme, but looking at those pictures will definetely convince you a small wedding with a DIY-feel has a lot of character!

Indeed the first ambiance of the wedding photoshoot we did had a rustic ring to it, but there was also a very strong vintage vibe. It worked well with the Batinse, the restaurant where the photoshoot took place. It shows how even with a small, simple venue it’s still possible to create a breathtaking atmosphere for your wedding. Melanie Vallerand was the one who coordinated the whole thing – you can see all the talented professionals who made this possible right after the pictures!

The bridal look

I love how the wedding dress come from a regular women’s fashion store : not only is it gorgeous but it would be also easy to wear it after the wedding. To go with this bridal dress, we paired our Anastasia birdcage veil, made with a lace piece on a comb with an ivory veil. It was perfect to create a look that was both timeless and romantic. Also just like the dress, you can wear it afterwards simply by cutting or folding the veil!
